This spiked clothing trend (is it official? Can we call it that?) popped off most recently,
Soon after, Rihanna’s stylist, Mariel Haenn, took us there when she put the singer in a gold spiked dress with matching spiked Christian Louboutin booties for her Rated R album release party. Absolutely crazy, head turning red carpet look (wonder how many hugs she gave out that night). Once again upping the ante, she donned a risque red dress for her second look, keeping the spikes to a minimum, now only on her shoulders with a connecting chain.
I think there’s something in the water. Do you see the bold spike detail becoming a trend? Or is it a red carpet/stage look strictly reserved for superstars?
